Mike Ives

Asst. Aquatics Director/Head Swim Coach

Coach Michael Ives is in his first year as Assistant Aquatics Director and Head Swim Coach at Indian Trail Club.

Previously, Coach Ives spent twenty years at the Haworth Swim Club where he served as the Head Swim Team Coach and Aquatics Manager. During the school year, Coach Ives is a mathematics teacher at Northern Valley Regional High School at Demarest. In his years at Northern Valley, Coach Ives coached the Varsity Swim Team from 2001-2019. In his years with the program the team won four New Jersey State Championships, nine NJ State Sectional Championships, two Bergen County Championships and 22 League Championships. He was named Bergen County Coach of the Year four times, North Jersey Coach of the Year twice and in 2018 was inducted into the NJ Coaches Hall of Fame. He has almost thirty years of experience coaching swimming at multiple levels and is very excited to continue his coaching career at ITC.
